Introduction to the DRC

LINKnet is excited to introduce the Diverse Recruitment Consultancy (DRC) to job seekers and employers based in Edinburgh and the Lothians.

DRC is the first and only recruitment consultancy in Scotland that specialises in minority ethnic job seekers, while also serving people from all communities.

​

Our mission is to help job seekers secure permanent work and employers recruit quality staff from diverse backgrounds. This is very much related to LINKnet's vision of maximising representation of minority ethnic people in the workplace, and to help in the establishment of an equitable society.

DRC is positively different because:

• We specialise in supporting minority ethnic job seekers; who are disadvantaged due to many social, political and economic reasons

• We provide our candidates with an intensive training programme on employability skills, communication skills, basic office skills, cultural diversity, confidentiality and related topics

• Our candidates can also benefit from LINKnet's long standing and successful one to one mentoring programme in order to be job ready

• Any income generated through DRC will be channelled back to LINKnet to sustain its free mentoring service
